‘Vedic’
We
are adding the word 'Vedic' to organic because 'Veda' means 'knowledge'—Total
Knowledge—so adding 'Vedic' means applying the organizing power of Total
Knowledge to the field of agriculture.
Vedic
Organic
'Vedic
Organic' means organic agriculture enriched by the nourishing influence of
Veda—the nourishing influence of Natural Law—as available in the
melodies of the Vedic Sounds, the melodies of the Vedic Literature.
Vedic
Natural Law is the intelligence of Nature constituting
all the Laws of Nature responsible for creation and evolution—the cycles
of life and creation.
The
creative impulses of the Laws of Nature—Vedic Vibrations—are the
vibrations that carry the nourishing influence of the evolutionary quality
of the Laws of Nature fundamental to the growth of the plant and the nutrients
within it.
Forty
There are forty fundamental structures of sound—forty
values of Vedic Sound—that constitute every aspect of the structural
and functional aspects of the plant—the plant's physiology and the intelligence
that creates it and functions through it.
Promote
These forty values of intelligence are the Laws of Nature
that are lively in their concentrated form in the seed of the plant. As the
seed sprouts, these forty values of Creative Intelligence together promote
the evolution of every fibre of the plant for all its material values.
Essence
of Intelligence
These
forty values constitute the essence of intelligence, the information that
is carried in the finest fibre of the plant as it expresses its material value
emerging from the abstract, unmanifest intelligence of the sap—evolving
from its unmanifest value to its manifest value.
These forty values of pure intelligence, of Veda, will be enlivened for their fully blossomed potential when these melodies are sung in the fields.
Healing
Influence
The
healing and nourishing influence of Vedic Sound is well documented by scientific
research, not only in human* life, but also in the animal and plant** kingdoms.
*Effect of different sounds on growth of human cancer cell lines in vitro: Alternative Therapies in Clinical Practice 3(4) (1996): 25–32. This research compared the nourishing and healing effect of Vedic Sound, Såma Veda, with the life-damaging effect of rock music. Vedic Sound healed the cancer, whereas rock music increased its destructive nature.
**The extreme sensitivity, receptivity, and intuitiveness of the plant kingdom may not be known and appreciated by many. Much is known, much is documented; but there are still many secrets of Nature’s functioning available only to the enlightened of every generation. of Natural Law
When
the natural sounds of Nature, the sounds of Natural Law, the sounds of the
Veda, are sung, they resonate with the structured sound in Nature, enlivening
and revitalizing life from its source and influencing every level of evolution—individual
to Cosmic.
Melodies
The
Vedic Melodies (Vedic Recitations) are so organized that at each stage of
the growth of the plant there are suitable melodies to bring about the full
blossoming of that stage of development, so that at each stage the plant develops
in the fullness of its structure and function—for its full nutritional
and life-supporting values.
Phenomenon
of Intelligence
The
'Vedic' element added to organic agriculture is a phenomenon of intelligence—a
phenomenon of consciousness—a phenomenon of the Creative Intelligence
of Nature directly applied to support different stages of evolution of the

When

• Mother at home: mothers will nourish their children at home and will
not be required to expose themselves to the hardships of farming, because
when mother has no time to nourish the children, every generation becomes
weaker and weaker.

Cosmic).
Seeds
7. The importance of all fields of the seed, the soil, and the
weather, and the competence of the human physiology to metabolise all aspects
of life through the five senses of perception and action, is the theoretical
and practical concern of Maharishi Vedic Agriculture University.
Seven
States
8. There are seven states of consciousness: Waking State of Consciousness,
State of Dreaming Consciousness, Sleep State of Consciousness, Transcendental Consciousness,
Cosmic Consciousness, God Consciousness, and Unity Consciousness. Each state
of consciousness has its own corresponding physiology, and as consciousness
evolves, it always unfolds its steps of evolution through its vibrational
modes, which constantly create new expressions of physiology—Navo-Navo
bhavati jayamanah (Rk Veda 10.85.19).
Universe
9. This is the significance of the word ‘universe’—eternally
unified state of self-referral consciousness, or intelligence (Atma),
promoting the diversified framework of the physical values of ever-evolving
creation—the ever-evolving universe.
Self-referral
10. Thus it is clear that the concrete universe is essentially
a bundle of vibrational modes of consciousness—eternally reverberating
self-referral intelligence. This is upheld by modern Physics, which tells
us that all the structures and dynamics of the universe can be understood
as resonant modes (vibrations) of underlying quantum fields, and that the
most fundamental level of Quantum Cosmology deals with the ‘wave function
of the universe’.
Power
11. Maharishi Vedic Agriculture University develops higher states
of consciousness in the farmer so that his relationship with the soil, seed,
and weather is always upheld by the total evolutionary nourishing power of
Natural Law.
Metabolizing
12. The development of higher states of consciousness depends on
the efficiency of the metabolizing systems in the physiology; it depends on
how food is metabolized; how water is metabolized; how speech is metabolized;
how thoughts and experiences are metabolized by the individual’s consciousness
and physiology. So for the evolution of consciousness, every aspect of life
is involved.
Relationship
13. The relationship between the individual and the whole field
of agriculture concerns not only the influence of the soil, seed, weather,
and the whole environment, but also the quality of the individual’s metabolic
system, which is regulated by his consciousness and physiology.
Theme
14. Therefore our theme of agriculture is the theme of bringing
the influence of the total potential of Natural Law to the life of the individual,
so that he spontaneously utilizes this potential of Natural Law in all his
thought, speech, and action, and thereby is never out of the evolutionary,
life-supporting influence of Natural Law.
Awakening
15. It is fortunate that there is an awakening in the world regarding
the highly polluting and hazardous procedures of chemical agriculture, and
the serious consequences of growing and eating genetically engineered food.
Imbalances
16. There is an ever-rising heap of popular opinion on the hazards
of chemically grown and genetically engineered food, and numberless researches
documenting the imbalances wrought to soil, seed, and weather through these
harmful systems of agriculture.
Harmful
17. All these harmful practices are now being replaced by our programmes
of Vedic Organic Agriculture. In this context we acknowledge all other organizations
who are promoting life-supporting technologies of agriculture.

18. Modern scientific research on organic
farming, and profound Vedic Technologies from the ancient Vedic Literature,

The principle of the Meissner Effect from Quantum Physics verifies that the inner coherence and harmony of a system expels disturbing influences. This explains how the order, harmony, and good fortune, generated by an ideal Vastu, disallows the penetration of any harmful, negative influence. The example of coherence and invincibility through the establishment of an ideal Vastu—structure and layout of a building, town, or city—is described in the ancient Vedic Literature of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, which maintains that by virtue of the internal orderly structure of the Vastu all negative influences have to remain at the outskirts of the city (in the case of city Vastu)—beyond the Vastu demarcation-creating the ground for ideal, harmonious living conditions in accord with Natural Law for the fortunate residents of that city. This same principle applies to the smaller Vastu of a town, village, home, or office building. The Maharishi Vastu Effect does not only prevent any negative influences penetrating the Vastu of any building, town, or city, but in the case of the individual living in an ideal Vastu, the self-repair mechanism of his own physiology is not disturbed or diminished; its orderly functioning is maintained. Thus the phenomenon of the Maharishi Vastu Effect presents the need for the complete reconstruction of the whole world for the world to be really healthy on a permanent basis. |
